This fly is called the Biot Sparkle Stone, but it does much more!  It is an attractor nymph that we have used with great results before, during, and after Mayfly and Caddis hatches as well. It is tied on a Scud which gives it a very natural shape and the hook gap is one to be feared!  You won't miss too many strikes with this nymph.  It makes a great Yellow Sally nymph, immature Golden Stone, or fish it just under the surface as a dropper durina PMD hatch if you want to put some fish in the boat!
