50+ Fly Assortment for Stream Fishing during the fall months with FREE Cliff's Box!
Fly Patterns for fishing in the fall on any river! It includes October Caddis, BWO's, Sculpin, Small Nymphs, Small Dry Flies, and LOTS of great flies!
The fall is a special time on any stream. The trout enjoy the remaining bounty of the summer, and begin to transition to smaller flies and typically become more selective. On almost all rivers, the water is at its lowest and clearest level in the fall. This means that the trout are often a bit more selective and favor very small nymphs. We have the most common hatches covered in this box. Blue Winged Olives (BWO's) are the most prolific fall hatch on almost every river. In this assortment.. you are more than covered! We have put together one heck of an assortment to help insure that you have success on the water during this time. Our goal is to save you time and money by compiling a variety of the best flies possible while maximizing value. In addition to hand picking the 50+ "guide" flies, you will be getting a Cliff's Fly Box included at no extra cost, free Shipping, and we'll pay the sales tax.
These are the fly patterns that we personally guide with, fish, and recommend to our very best customers from September - November on our home waters. No matter where you fish, these flies work! Especially for big trout. There are unique patterns in this box that will dupe even the pickiest ol' trout. We chose these with much scrutiny, they are high quality fly patters that have been carefully selected by our staff to prepare you for fishing with nymphs, dry flies, emergers, or streamers on any river. Our home water, the Yakima, has very similar hatches to what you will find across the country and these patterns are well assorted and proven to catch fish. The 50+ flies will have you very well prepared. Included in this package is a "Big Cliff's Fly Box" which is our favorite all around fly box for flies of varying sizes. It has foam strips, is transparent so you can see what is inside before you open it, and has a magnetic sheet which holds even the smallest flies. The magnet also catches any flies that might come loose in transit, which is very important because many of these bugs are pretty small!
There are many unique flies in this box that you won't find at a typical "box store", and we believe in each fly in here. Be sure to watch the entire video to learn about when and why each pattern is important. While using the streamers, be sure to have a 15' sinking tip line and "swing" the fly by casting it out and letting the line come tight. The trout hit these patterns very aggressively and are often quite large. Be sure to search out our Youtube Channel "redsflyshop" and you can search for some of the insects mentioned in the video above. Once you see the actual bugs... you will understand why we chose these flies!
