Washington State is where Gary Loomis became the most famous rod designer on earth because of his dedication and pursuit of building the lightest, most sensitive, and strongest steelhead and salmon rods available. At Red's, we appreciate the tradition of Loomis and are proud to sell and fish the Native Run GLX. It is fitting that these rods are built in Southwest Washington, minutes from several great steelhead streams. Can you imagine a better place to design rods? The Native Run GLX features Recoil guides (nickel titanium alloy) that flex under pressure, and the reel seat fastener is raised which makes it easy to tighten or loosen with gloves on, this rod line was obviously designed by a fisherman, for fishermen.
