The only thing better than a Stimulator? A parachute Stimulator! This pattern is a great attractor that casts and floats very well, it doesn't land hard like a Chernobyl and in some situations that is a great advantage. This fly performs extremely well as an attractor, but really cleans house during Golden Stonefly and Salmon Fly Hatches, then again in the fall it becomes a staple on most rivers as an October Caddis Adult pattern. Use this to float a small dropper nymph as well, sometimes using a fly with no rubber legs eliminates any tangles you might get, especially in the wind.
