This is a staple in our guide's fly boxes all summer long.  It makes a terrific Stonefly pattern that gets eaten during Skwalas, Goldens, Salmon Flies, and Summer Stone hatches.  It double as a great terrestrial as well, but the best thing about this fly is it just seems to "make the action" some days when the trout are being lazy and won't come off the bottom for anything.  At that time.... tie on a Plan B and work 'em up!  It fishes well too when you twitch it and the red rubber legs start kicking around like crazy.
