This rod hardly needs an introduction.  Plenty of our staff, guests, and customers carry a Z-Axis.  This is one of our partner Tony's all around favorite spey rods.   He is one of the owners here at Red's and although he has a quiver full of spey rods, the Z-Axis is his personal favorite.  Especially the 8129-4 for heavy lifting when fishing for kings or winter steelhead.  For steelhead work around the Northwest, you will find him fishing the 7136-4 Z-Axis or the Sage TCX 7126 "death star".  Overall, the 7136 Z-Axis is the easiest casting rod in the bunch.
