    I have the first generation of this jacket, and I must say... I have no idea how I fished in cold weather all these years under layer after layer of fleece when I could have been wearing something half the weight, but is twice as warm.

    This thing is almost nuclear!  Wear this one jacket instead of 2 fleece or a fleece and a shell.  You will be far more comfortable and it will make cold fishing fun.  I have also worn this jacket underneath a ski shell for cross country skiing and snowshoeing as well.  PLUS it looks pretty good when I take the little woman out to dinner afterwards.
