Wulff Triangle Taper Ambush Floating Fly Line - Single Hand Spey Line

This fly line is the wade fisherman's dream.  This line is a revolution.  It is a fly line designed specifically for spey casting (roll casting) with your single handed rod!  That's right, just use your 5,6,7 or 8 weight and throw INCREDIBLE roll casts and spey casts with this line.  It will make your roll casting look like Superman is holding the rod.  This doesn't mean you cannot overhead cast it though, it just means that the mass weight of the line is configured heavily in the head allowing the caster to load the rod with a spey style motion and obtain casts that other anglers with other line simply cannot.  It has a 20' taper and 70' of running line - you will actually SHOOT line with your roll casts! It also features a really clean welded loop for attaching loop to loop connections or even Versi-leader type attachments.

Fly Line for Switch Rods

The Wulff Ambush Line is one of our favorite fly lines for Switch Rods, we like to go up 2 line weights. i.e - our most common sale is a 7 Weight Switch Rod with a 9 Weight Wulff Ambush fly line.  It works very well for both swinging flies and/or indicator nymph fishing as well.  One of the nice things about this line is that it cast perfect using a 10' Versileader (poly leader or spey versileader).  The Wulff Ambush Line comes with a welded loop on the end that can be attached via loop-to-loop connection to a versileader.  The leaders are available in various sink rates and are quite affordable in comparison to traditional sinking tip lines.
