Echo is small and very personal company based in Vancouver, WA which is in the heart of some of the world's best fly fishing for Steelhead. The chief engineer, rod designer, and distributor of Echo is Tim Rajeff of Rajeff sports. Tim is a world famous fly casting champion, instructor, and all around great guy. His discriminating view on what good fly fishing gear should be able to accomplish led him to start the Echo Rod company and he hasn't looked back. There are very few companies, if any, that have the heart, passion, and desire to build the best possible products the way Echo does!
Wash all components with warm freshwater after each days use in saltwater. Pay extra attention to the space where the guides meet the blank and the metal parts of the reel seat. Try to keep sand and dirt out of the ferrules. Occasionally use a few drops of any reel oil or grease on the reel seat threads to keep it operating smoothly. Paraffin wax can also be used on the ferrules if needed to ensure a proper fit.
Do not use tape on your ferrules. If you do we’ll come steal all your bacon and PBR.
